Hi, I'm Nims! I started crochet when I was about 12; an old family friend taught me in our back garden.

I already knew how to knit but I wasn’t really enjoying it. Suddenly, when I learnt how to crochet, I instantly fell in love with it!

I started with some simple sample stitch swatches and worked my way towards my first project… a full size blanket (you can see it on my profile).

This was really difficult to finish alongside various sports clubs and school. It took about 3 years, on and off. However, I finally finished it and I was so proud!

I carried on making home projects like a lil’ blanket for my nephew and some cushion covers but kept getting interrupted by other things.

After starting uni, I fell away from crochet. Assignments and a new job (to fund me) got in the way. I had no time and no money to spare. Covid also meant that getting supplies was more difficult.

Fast forward to now… I have a full time job and, even though I’m trying to save for a house (which is not easy in London), I have a lil bit of money left over to start crocheting again!

With the help and encouragement from my boyfriend and my friends, I managed to set up an account, set up a lil shop, make a logo and make a website.

Now I can do what I really love… making and selling my crochet creations. It’s still hard to find time to crochet but all your support has encouraged me to keep going! Thank you! favorite
